Today we’re sharing the inspiring story of Solin, who runs a skincare salon in Uganda and traveled to Korea to expand her professional skills.
Solin came to Korea Mikwang Beauty Academy to take part in the 10-day permanent makeup training program, hoping to provide better and more advanced services to her clients back home.
Her journey, however, was not without challenges. Last year, Solin tried learning permanent makeup in the United States, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t work out the way she had hoped. Despite that setback, she didn’t give up on her dream.
This time, she gathered the courage to travel to Korea and start again.
At first, Solin was quite nervous and lacked confidence. But through 10 days of hands-on practice, guidance, and dedication, she gradually built both her skills and her confidence.
By the end of the program, Solin had transformed into a much more confident and professional artist, ready to bring her new techniques back to her skincare salon in Uganda.
